An immersive VR experience about the emotional strain caused by separation, conflict of cultures, generational differences, and the dreams of an aspiring artist presented by AmaInc and Facebook API@ARVR.
History
AmaVR was formed in 2017 when Awu Chen posed the question: “How do I preserve the memories of my Grandmother?”. Since then the team has built intimate experiences and installations to understand the most effective ways to share our memories. AmaVR’s first experience Ama’s Momento debuted at the Japanese American National Museum and received the best “Location Based and Live Play Award” at IndieCade 2019.
